Bringing Hugs and Buddies to Local Families
The holidays can be a rough time, but it is also a wonderful opportunity to bring warmth and cheer to those who may be in short supply right now. On October 24 we kicked off our annual “Holiday Hugs & Toy Drive Program” that will run through December 2, 2016. The program provides toys and our own Shadow Buddies to hundreds of Kansas City metro families.
What We Do
Area businesses are collecting toys that will be distributed to families, shelters and other non-profits that are as passionate about helping children as we are. Our foundation staff, Board of Directors and amazing volunteers will visit a Kansas City shelter to make dinner, deliver toys and spend time with the children and their families.
What You Can Do To Help
Light up hundreds of kids’ holiday season by volunteering with our team.
