HoKCey and Hope for the Holidays with the Mavericks

We are thrilled to have developed a new partnership with the Missouri Mavericks Hockey team! The Mavericks are a part of the East Coast Hockey League, a mid-level professional league that includes teams and conferences all over the country. We are all eager to start an enduring partnership in the years to come.

Donating Preemie Buddies

The team has already accompanied us to donate Preemie Buddies to Overland Park Regional Medical Center on November 17th and we have one more awesome event planned in the next month, and there are sure to be more soon. If you are interested in a fun community service opportunity or just love hockey, then this is the event for you!

HoKCey and Hope for the Holidays

On Saturday, December 17th the Mavericks are hosting HoKCey and Hope for the Holidays. Anyone who wants to attend the event will be able to purchase reduced ticket prices for the game against the Alaska Aces and to adopt a Buddy (or Buddies) that will then be given to a child. The home game will be played at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena in Independence, MO.Attendees will get the chance to throw their Shadow Buddies onto the ice after the first goal is scored, demonstrating how many Buddies were donated during the event. On December 20th and 21st, the Mavericks will personally deliver the Buddies to children in need at a local HCA hospital in time for the holidays. This event is sure to be a blast and we look forward to seeing you there!
