The Shadow Buddies Foundation was lucky enough to be invited as the charity of choice for the weekend grand opening of a new breakfast spot in town. John and Britney Valas opened an Overland Park, Kansas location of Another Broken Egg Café. On Saturday January 18, 2020 The Shadow Buddies Foundation and Another Broken Egg Café partnered up for an amazing event. At the Friends and Family Grand Opening, guests received a complimentary breakfast with the encouragement to make a donation to The Shadow Buddies Foundation. It was a wonderful opportunity for our organization to spread our mission while the community received a delicious taste of the new breakfast joint. We are proud to announce that we received $3,317 in generous donations. It is because the great people within our community that we are able to continue spreading “Miles of Smiles.”
