G-Tube Buddy

Hi, I am the G-Tube Buddy! I am designed to be a teaching tool and a friend to help children with a G-tube adapt to their medical situation. A gastrostomy tube (also called a G-tube) is a tube inserted through the belly that brings nutrition directly to the stomach. It is one way doctors can make sure kids who have trouble eating get the fluid and calories they need. 

I have a G-tube that has a cap closure to demonstrate the placement and how the G-tube looks. I have a brightly colored gown, heart shaped eyes for love, and a big smile. I can go into procedures with a child and stay with them for a lifetime.
