ABOUT SICKLE CELL BUDDY

Hi, I’m the Sickle Cell Buddy! I joined the Shadow Buddies family to be a friend for your child or loved one who is “just like me.” I’m also a great teaching tool used by medical professionals to help teach patients and family members about living with sickle cell anemia. I’ll be supportive for years to come and will always be available for a hug!

I have sticks indicating blood draws on my forearm and a face mask for any necessary procedures. I’ll be individually packaged with heart shaped eyes for love and a big smile!
