ABOUT BUSY BUDDY

Hi, I am the Busy Buddy! I am a therapeutic Memory Care - Senior Buddy, specifically designed for individuals living in the middle to later stages of Alzheimer’s or other dementia.   

The various items on my gown provide sensory and visual stimulation, which are known to reduce stress and anxiety for individuals living with the disease.  

I am a tool for social engagement and I regenerate warm, nurturing feeling of caring for others. I also make it possible for someone who is dependent on others to care for someone or something. By offering sensory stimulation and help with fine motor skills, I can help to provide a sense of calm and decrease in challenging behaviors. I am best implemented as part of a meaningful engagement activity/program or with caregivers and should be used with supervision.
