Pre-Op Buddy

ABOUT PRE-OP BUDDY

Hi, I’m the Pre-Op Buddy! Physicians, nurses and anesthesiologist use me to explain and demonstrate procedures. I’m always ready to volunteer for blood pressure checks, temperatures, sticks, administering anesthesia and even dressing changes. Your child or loved one can even draw on me to mimic their incisions if necessary.

Eliminating anxiety is an important job for me. While easing fears and frustrations, I help put the patient in control and I send them home with good thoughts and a new friend!
