Celebrating our Buddies with a Super Hero Party!

Early in June, we held our first "Super Hero Party" at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas! This hospital is one of the 11 Child Life Zones in the United States. Shadow Buddies is proud to work with several of these Zones and provide love and support for kids to be kids!We had an amazing day celebrating the 55 children who attended the afternoon event with their families. A group called Heroic Inner Kids came dressed as everyone's favorite superheroes and the children enjoyed the creative project of designing their own Superhero Cape!  We served pizza and action work cookies, and each child received a Super Hero Shadow Buddy and goodie bag.  I was blessed to attend with our Shadow Buddies Board President, Tanner Coble.Thanks for having us, Cook Children's Medical Center!
