A Big Thank You to Teva Pharmaceuticals

The Shadow Buddies Foundation has had the honor of being the recipient of a two-year grant from Teva Pharmaceuticals for the years 2017-2018. We have been fortunate enough to partner with Teva since 2014, in which time they have helped fund over 3,000 Respiratory Buddies that were distributed to local Kansas City hospitals.Their employees have also gone a step beyond by volunteering over 1,600 hours packing, shipping, and accessorizing the Buddies. Along with their generous grant money and volunteering, Teva has also helped collect toys for our annual Holiday Hugs program over the winter holiday season. In 2016, Teva employees helped raise over 700 toys for local children during the holidays.Shadow Buddies is excited to see what the future holds and are blessed to be partners with Teva Pharmaceuticals! We would also like to give a huge thank you to the Leawood Rotary for being a part of the team! On Saturday, March 11th, the teams dressed 100 girl and 50 boy Buddies, assembled 500 caps, booties and masks, and unpacked 200 mini t-shirts -- that's some fantastic work!
