Shoot for the Kids
On behalf of the Shadow Buddies Foundation, and the kids we serve, we would like to invite you to the 5th Annual “Shoot for the Kids.” This event promises to be a thrilling day, delivering a high quality, first class shoot in a superb setting located in Kansas City, Missouri.
The “Shoot for the Kids” will be held on Thursday, April 23rd, 2020, at the Saddle and Sirloin Club. We hope you will join us as we shoot clays and raise money for our Shadow Buddies “Courage Capes – Capes for Kids.”
With its inaugural shootout in 2016, this annual event features a BBQ lunch, demonstration and team shooting. We are proudly sponsored by a number of local businesses and plan on having a blast with themed shooting stations. In its first year, Shoot for the Kids raised more than $12,000 for medically challenged Kansas City kids.
The goal of the event is to raise $30,000 that will allow us to support medically challenged children battling life-threatening conditions and going through various medical treatments. Our “Courage Capes” provide children with a child size Superhero cape and mask and allows them to do play therapy and be a hero! The “Shoot for the Kids” Clay Shoot offers unparalleled sponsorship opportunities and is the perfect way to demonstrate your company’s commitment to the communities in which you operate.
Your generous support is vital to our continued success and growth, and will bring us closer to our goal of supporting 10,000 children in Kansas City in 2020. We are honored to have our founding chairmen host this event for the fifth year, Greg Hellbusch with Axis Construction Group, and John Almeida with MedDevelopment. We look forward to visiting with you about your company’s involvement with our “Shoot for the Kids” event.
